A Tulare County Sheriff's Deputy is being hailed as a hero for his quick actions in saving a child from a mobile home fire in Orosi, California. The fire broke out on Florida Avenue near Lone Road just before 4:30 PM on Tuesday. Responding deputies were informed that a 12-year-old boy with Down Syndrome was trapped inside the burning home. Displaying remarkable bravery, one deputy entered the flames three times before successfully finding the boy in a back bedroom. Fortunately, the child, his brother, and the deputy were all treated for smoke inhalation at the hospital and are expected to make a full recovery.

Fire officials reported that the blaze started in the laundry room, although the specific cause is still undetermined. This incident not only emphasizes the dangers faced by first responders but also showcases the importance of community safety. The estimated damage from the fire is around $80,000.
