Man and woman arrested in Tulare County for armed robbery of 56-year-old

In a shocking incident in Tulare County, a man and a woman were arrested for allegedly robbing a 56-year-old man in Tipton at gunpoint. The victim had approached the couple seeking a ride, and they initially requested gas money, which he provided. However, when the victim refused additional requests for money, the couple turned violent, brandishing a weapon, twisting his arm, and stealing his wallet before physically throwing him to the ground. Following the robbery, the suspects fled the scene in their vehicle. Hours later, Porterville Police spotted the car and apprehended the couple.

The Tulare County Sheriff's office reported that the male suspect has prior burglary charges, raising concerns about his criminal history. This incident has raised alarms in the local community about safety and crime. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the case.
