Vancouver Police Arrest Bank Robbery Suspect

Vancouver, WALocal News

Vancouver Police have arrested Ryan Frisbie, the primary suspect in a bank robbery at the Bank of America on December 21, 2024, where he implied he had a firearm. The robbery triggered a swift response from law enforcement, who reviewed surveillance footage to identify the suspect. After sharing Frisbie's image on social media, detectives received tips that led them to connect him to at least two other bank robberies in the Portland area. On January 24, 2025, a patrol officer recognized a vehicle resembling the one linked to Frisbie in a gas station parking lot. Following a high-risk traffic stop, police confirmed the driver was Frisbie and placed him under arrest.

He has been booked into the Clark County Jail for Robbery I, with further investigations underway. The case highlights the importance of community involvement in crime-solving and the effectiveness of police collaboration. Authorities are keen to gather more information about Frisbie's criminal activities as the investigation progresses.
