Vancouver Fire Marshals are actively investigating a significant house fire that occurred early Saturday morning, displacing two residents and their two cats. The fire broke out around 7:30 a. m. at a residence on Southeast 113th Court, with neighbors reporting explosions and flames visible from the front of the house. Responding firefighters arrived within six minutes and quickly implemented measures to prevent the fire from spreading further into the structure, which had flames shooting from the second story.

Fortunately, a thorough search revealed that no occupants were inside at the time of the incident. Firefighters successfully brought the blaze under control in under 15 minutes, ensuring that the situation did not escalate. Although no injuries were reported, the two residents and their pets were displaced and are now seeking assistance. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, with officials urging anyone with information to come forward. This event highlights the importance of fire safety and the swift response of local emergency services.
