Public invited to sign condolence book for victims of the tragic incident that took place at the Lapu Lapu Day Festival
Vancouver officials invite the public to sign a condolence book from May 1–15 for the victims of the tragic Lapu Lapu Day Festival incident. Residents can participate in person at City Hall or online. The City expresses its deepest condolences to the Filipino community and emphasizes its commitment to support those affected. In collaboration with Filipino BC, the City has established a Mobile Community Support Centre at 43rd Avenue and Fraser Street, offering emotional support and resources from noon to 8 p. m.
The Vancouver Police Department provides additional assistance by phone for individuals unable to attend in person.
