Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Santa Claus will arrive in University Place on December 5 to assist in lighting the Christmas Tree at Market Square. The event begins at 5 p. m. , featuring live performances by the Handy Troubadour and children caroling. In addition to live reindeer, attendees can indulge in a variety of food from local vendors.

Santa will make his entrance on a West Pierce Fire & Rescue engine and will pose for photos beside the fireplace in the Civic Building Atrium from 5-7 p. m. , except during the tree lighting at 6 p. m. sharp.

Residents are encouraged to check the City’s Facebook and Instagram for details on food options and entertainment updates. This annual event aims to foster community spirit and celebrate the holiday season. Last year, the event attracted hundreds of families, showcasing its growing popularity.
