The council also celebrated Bridgeport Place Assisted Living & Memory Care for its 25th Anniversary, highlighting the importance of local businesses in the community. Deputy Chris Rather, after 31 years of service, including 26 years with the University Place Police Department, received accolades as he prepares for retirement. Meanwhile, Deputy Sydney Davis earned three silver medals at the World Police & Fire Games held in Birmingham, Alabama, showcasing the talents of local law enforcement.
