On August 23, Cirque Park welcomed around 6,500 participants to celebrate University Place's 30th anniversary. The event featured live music, skate demos, and attractions for children, fostering a vibrant community atmosphere. Enthusiastic fans filled the park’s Skate Bowl, while the Pierce County Sheriff’s K-9 unit captivated many attendees. The highlight of the day was the Glow Show, where hot air balloons lit up the night sky, leaving a lasting impression. Civic partners such as Honest Home Solutions and University Place Refuse and Recycling significantly contributed to the event’s success.

Other local businesses and community groups also provided support through funding and volunteer efforts. This celebration not only marked a milestone for the city but also reinforced community bonds. The event's success reflects the strong engagement and support within University Place.
