Steve Worthington Resigns from City Council

Council Member Steve Worthington will resign from the University Place City Council, effective August 30, 2025. Worthington and his wife, Jill, are relocating to Vancouver, Washington, to be closer to their children and grandchildren in Bend, Oregon. He referred to his Council work as the pinnacle of his public service career but did not rule out future opportunities to contribute in Vancouver.
