University Place announces its Fall Clean Up for residents, set for October 4 and 11, from 8 a. m. to 4 p. m. Residents north of 40th St W.

can participate on October 4, while those south of 40th St W. can join on October 11. Each household is limited to one load, with specific rules prohibiting hazardous materials and oversized loads. Safety measures require children and pets to remain in vehicles, and photo ID is mandatory for participation. The clean-up event allows for the recycling of various items, including clean wood, metal, and yard waste, while excluding regular household garbage.
