UPTV and Pierce County TV Take Home National Honors

UPTV celebrated a successful night at the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) awards, claiming three first place awards for its videos, including "Color it Up Art Contest," "Forever Friends," and "UP Garden Tour - Alice's Garden. " The City of University Place also received a total of 14 awards, with several second place and honorable mention honors. PCTV, serving as UPTV's production partner, earned the prestigious Overall Excellence award, recognizing it as the top government station in its category for the second year in a row. In total, PCTV secured 16 awards, including five first place distinctions, showcasing its excellence in government programming. The awards ceremony took place in New Orleans, emphasizing the national recognition of local talent and creativity.

The achievements reflect the City's commitment to producing high-quality content that resonates with its community. Communications Manager Linda Seesz and Senior Communications Specialist Amanda Kleber represented the City at the event. Such accolades not only celebrate individual accomplishments but also enhance the reputation of the City of University Place.
