City Seeks Public Input on Town Center District

University Place officials seek public input on a new plan for the Town Center District, inviting feedback from residents and business owners. The district covers the area along Bridgeport Way West from 29th to 51st Street West. This planning effort aims to create a unified vision, along with policies and actions needed for future development. The completed plan will include historical context, an inventory of facilities, and forecasts regarding population and employment growth. The survey consists of 13 questions and will remain open until mid-July 2025.

Community feedback is vital for ensuring the plan aligns with local needs and aspirations. The city encourages all stakeholders to participate, emphasizing the importance of their voices in shaping the district's future. By engaging residents and businesses, University Place aims to foster a collaborative approach to urban planning.
