According to the Pinellas Park Police Department, the bicyclist was riding an E-Bike and attempted to cross Park Blvd. against the pedestrian control signal. The driver of a 2014 red Chevrolet Equinox was heading westbound on Park Blvd. N and had a green light at the time of the incident. Authorities confirmed that the driver remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
