The body of 17-year-old Allister Samer Nasr, who had been missing for over two weeks, was discovered in the Weedon Island Preserve. The Pinellas County Medical Examiner confirmed the remains belonged to Allister, although the cause of death remains under investigation. Police stated there were no visible signs of trauma or foul play, which offers some solace to the community. Allister was last seen on March 1, riding his white beach cruiser bicycle, which was found near 94th Avenue North. Concern for his safety grew due to evidence found post-disappearance, prompting police to initiate a significant search operation.

Utilizing drones, boats, and specialized dogs, authorities scoured the area until personal items were found, leading to the eventual discovery of his remains.
