The City of Tampa will honor local Super Bowl champion Isaiah Rodgers with a Key to the City in a ceremony on March 7, 2025. Mayor Jane Castor will present the award, celebrating Rodgers's achievements as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, who won the Super Bowl in February 2025. A 2016 graduate of Blake High School, Rodgers initially played collegiate football at the University of Massachusetts before being drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2020. He joined the Eagles in 2023, where he played a significant role in their championship victory. The ceremony at the Hanna Ave City Center will also feature performances by cheerleaders from Blake High School, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Mayor Castor expressed pride in Rodgers, highlighting his journey as a beacon of hope for young athletes in Tampa. Media representatives are invited to attend and must RSVP in advance. This event underscores the city's commitment to recognizing local talent and inspiring future generations.
