Tampa Police Investigating Deadly Shooting

In a troubling incident, the Tampa Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man dead and three others injured on February 18, 2025. The shooting occurred shortly before 12:40 PM at 2600 E 28th Ave, where officers responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered three male victims, with a fourth victim identified later, all in their late 20s to early 30s. The injured were transported to a local hospital, where one was unfortunately pronounced deceased, while the other three are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities suspect the shooting was targeted and have reassured the public that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
