TAMPA POLICE LAUNCH 2025 "TPD C.A.R.E.S." GRANT FUNDING CAMPAIGN

The Tampa Police Department has unveiled its 2025 TPD Community and Resources Enhancing Success (C. A. R. E. S.

) grant program, offering a total of $45,000 to support community-driven initiatives focused on crime prevention and engagement. This program is designed for community partners, including non-profits with 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) designations, who serve residents within the City of Tampa. Applications will open on March 10, 2025, and must be submitted by midnight on April 4, 2025. Chief Lee Bercaw praised the impact of last year's recipients, who made significant contributions towards supporting local youth and families. Grants will be available in varying amounts, enabling diverse organizations to receive funding tailored to their project needs.

This initiative reflects the Tampa Police Department's ongoing commitment to fostering safer neighborhoods through community collaboration.
