Hillsborough County Public Schools will close all operations on September 25 and 26, canceling all after-school programs and activities. Meanwhile, Pasco County Schools will remain operational on September 24 but will close the next day, with after-school events already canceled to prepare for the storm. Hernando County was proactive, announcing their closures on Monday night and suspending all afterschool activities as well. Pinellas County has also declared a closure for the same days, ensuring that all sports and activities scheduled during this time are canceled.
