Tampa Bay, FLLocal News

On September 30, Victory High School will host its "Golfing for Victory" charity golf tournament to raise funds for the nonprofit recovery school dedicated to helping teens battling addiction. The school has been a beacon of hope for over three years, providing necessary support to students without charging their families. With the opening of a third location in Hillsborough County, Victory continues to expand its reach following successful establishments in Pasco and Pinellas counties. The fundraiser aims to engage the community, inviting local residents to contribute to its mission. Among the participants are Chris and Alex Finch, a father-son team, who emphasize the importance of family in recreational activities like golf.

Alex shared his personal experience of learning the sport, showcasing how such activities can strengthen bonds and promote well-being. The event not only raises funds but also raises awareness about the challenges teens face regarding addiction and the support they can receive. As the tournament approaches, the community is encouraged to rally behind this important cause.
