Brooksville man riding electric bike dies after crash in Hernando County: FHP

In a tragic accident on Saturday night in Hernando County, Florida, a 42-year-old Brooksville man died after being hit by an SUV while riding his electric bike. The collision involved a Chevy Trailblazer driven by a 21-year-old man from Inverness, who was traveling west on Highfield Road. Following the crash, the electric bike rider was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A female passenger on the bike sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving medical attention.
