The collision involved a Chevy Trailblazer driven by a 21-year-old man from Inverness, who was traveling west on Highfield Road. Following the crash, the electric bike rider was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A female passenger on the bike sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving medical attention.
