Tampa Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that occurred early on November 19, 2024. At approximately 2:55 a. m. , officers responded to a call and found an adult black male in his early 40s who had been struck by a vehicle near N. Orient Rd.

and E. 8th Ave. The victim died at the scene due to the severe injuries he sustained. Following a thorough investigation, police were able to identify and apprehend an individual believed to be responsible for the crash.
