Motorcyclist killed in crash with Hillsborough school bus in Riverview

A fatal accident involving a Hillsborough school bus and a motorcyclist occurred on U. S. 301 in Riverview, Florida, resulting in the death of a 26-year-old man from Sun City Center. The crash happened around 4 p. m.

when the bus driver, Jacqulyne Pleasant Edwards, attempted a left turn under a flashing yellow signal, inadvertently turning into the motorcyclist's path. After colliding with the bus, the motorcyclist struck a Dodge pickup truck, leading to his fatal injuries. The incident involved 12 students on the bus, who fortunately were not harmed. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances of the crash, and no charges have been filed against Edwards yet. Sgt.

Steve Gaskins confirmed that they are working to inform the motorcyclist's family about the incident. The community is left in shock as they await further details regarding this tragic event.
