Troopers search for woman who fled after crashing car into Pasco home

The accident occurred shortly after 12:30 a. m. when the suspect lost control of her vehicle, which traveled more than 150 feet along the sidewalk before colliding with the Honda Fit. The force of the impact propelled the Honda through an interior wall and struck the man, who was subsequently airlifted to a hospital but later died from his injuries.

Witnesses reported that the woman appeared disoriented and described her physical characteristics, aiding the search. Following the crash, she exited the Tahoe and ran away, leading to an appeal from authorities for anyone with information to come forward. The incident raises concerns about road safety and the consequences of reckless driving in residential areas. The Florida Highway Patrol is urging cooperation from the community to help apprehend the fleeing suspect.
