The Pasco County commissioners have confirmed Ryan Guynn as the new fire chief, recognizing his exemplary performance as interim chief during two challenging hurricane events. Under his leadership, the Pasco Fire Rescue team rescued over 1,200 residents, demonstrating their commitment and effectiveness in crisis situations. JJ Murphy, the county’s public safety administrator, acknowledged Guynn’s role in uniting the fire department during these emergencies, emphasizing the trust and respect he has earned from his team.
