Koya, new tasting menu-only restaurant from Noble Rice team, opens in Tampa

Tampa Bay, FLLocal News

Koya, the latest venture from the owners of the acclaimed Noble Rice restaurant, has opened in Tampa, providing a distinctive omakase-style dining experience. Launched on July 22, the restaurant features an exclusive tasting menu that accommodates only eight guests each night. Since its inception, Koya has seen overwhelming demand, selling out nightly—a testament to its appeal during challenging times. The menu presents 12 to 14 beautifully crafted courses priced at $225 per person, with additional wine and sake pairings for $150. The intimate setting, located in the former Noble Rice space, has been renovated to enhance the dining atmosphere.

Owners Eric and Adriana Fralick have been planning this endeavor since 2017, driven by the high demand for tasting menus at their previous restaurant. Koya's success reflects a shift in consumer behavior, as diners are increasingly looking for unique culinary experiences closer to home amid travel restrictions. As food enthusiasts flock to Koya, it stands out as a beacon of innovative dining in Tampa’s culinary scene.
