Wesley Chapel to get its first Hooters restaurant next summer

Tampa Bay, FLLocal News

A new Hooters restaurant is set to open in Wesley Chapel, Florida, in the summer of 2025, marking the establishment's first location in the area. The restaurant will occupy 4,500 square feet next to the Wesley Chapel Harley-Davidson dealership, featuring an outdoor patio for patrons. This development is significant as it expands Hooters' presence in Pasco County, where it already operates locations in Port Richey and Odessa. HMC Hospitality Group CEO Neil Kiefer emphasized the company's commitment to community involvement and expressed enthusiasm for the restaurant's potential to become a local hotspot. Hooters is renowned for its chicken wings and casual dining experience, which has garnered a loyal following since its inception in Clearwater in 1983.

With over 400 locations worldwide, the brand not only serves food but also engages in philanthropic efforts, having raised over $4 million for cancer research. The new restaurant expects to hire around 60 employees, contributing to the local economy. As the opening date approaches, many in the community are eagerly anticipating this addition to Wesley Chapel's dining landscape.
