The 30th Annual Tampa Police Memorial 5K/1-Mile Run-Walk is now set for December 14, 2024, at 8:00 am, after being postponed from its original date due to Hurricane Milton. This annual event not only honors the sacrifices of fallen Tampa Police officers but also reinforces community bonds through participation and celebration. Registration for those who originally signed up remains valid, and new participants can register online until December 11, 2024. On-site registration will also be available on the day of the run, from 5:00 am to 7:00 am. The event promises a festive atmosphere with food, music, and various activities designed to engage the community.

Additionally, packet pickup for registered runners will be organized at the Tampa Police Museum on December 13 and on the day of the run. Proceeds from the event will support the Tampa Police Museum and contribute to scholarships and charitable donations. This rescheduled run reflects the resilience of the community and its commitment to honoring those who serve.
