Summer concert series returns to Old Town

Tacoma's Old Town Summer Concert Series, produced by Kim Archer, begins on July 2 and runs weekly through August 27 at Old Town Park. Designed to foster community, the free concerts invite families and individuals to enjoy a diverse lineup of local music acts. The concerts draw over 350 attendees each week, with some nights exceeding 400, indicating a strong community interest. Featured performances include local favorites like Champaign Sunday and Amelia Day, showcasing a mix of genres and styles.

The series not only provides entertainment but also promotes local businesses, encouraging attendees to explore Old Town. Archer collects donations for the performers, ensuring they receive compensation for their work. This year's lineup reflects a commitment to diversity, featuring a range of artists across various backgrounds.
