Method to host Skate Aid Nepal fundraiser

Skateboard expert Jonathan Jarodsky recently returned from Nepal, where he taught children the art of skateboarding to boost their self-esteem. With an average income of $1,456, many families in Nepal face economic hardship, and resources are limited due to environmental degradation. Jarodsky, who has worked for the Forest Service, is raising funds for Skate Aid Nepal by selling photos and artwork created by local children. The fundraising event will occur on June 20 at the 9th and A Street alley in Tacoma, emphasizing community support for the initiative. During his last trip, a boy fell and broke his arm, demonstrating the need for medical care, which, although affordable, is often scarce.

The joy of skateboarding allows children to express themselves and escape their challenging surroundings. Jarodsky's efforts highlight the importance of providing recreational opportunities in underserved regions. The event aims to raise awareness and funds to support the children in Nepal.
