Nominations sought for car giveaway

Tacoma, WALocal News

Tacoma's Center Collision, owned by Kevin and Debbie House, is calling for community nominations for the eighth Wheels to Prosper car giveaway, which rewards individuals making a positive impact despite lacking transportation. The nomination process is open until July 7, with a public reveal scheduled for July 19, featuring food, entertainment, and raffle prizes. The initiative began in 1995 as a way for the Houses to give back to the community, and it has since become a cherished tradition. Recipients receive not only a car but also assistance with gas and insurance costs, ensuring they can maintain their new vehicle. Kevin House seeks to recognize those who consistently help others but may struggle themselves, reinforcing community bonds.

The car will be fully serviced and detailed, thanks to local dealership support and donations. Community involvement is crucial, as local businesses contribute to the initiative, fostering a spirit of collaboration. Wheels to Prosper illustrates how community efforts can transform lives by providing essential resources for those in need.
