The Tacoma Photo Center promotes analog photography, inviting individuals to engage more deeply with their creative processes. Located at 1720 S. 7th St. , this nonprofit institution offers a range of services including customized film and print development, and hands-on workshops taught by knowledgeable instructors Drew and Cormack. Recent celebrations included an anniversary event at the Grand Cinema, where community members showcased their photographs and participated in social activities.

The center features a fully equipped rental darkroom and a variety of lighting setups for different photographic styles. Additionally, the camera library allows patrons to borrow various camera models at no cost, enhancing accessibility to the art form. Special workshops introduce alternative photographic processes such as cyanotype and salt printing. Donations of cameras and darkroom supplies are encouraged to support the center's mission. The Tacoma Photo Center stands as a hub for creativity, fostering connections within the local photography community.
