Veterans Resource Fair coming to the Tacoma Dome

On May 31, the Tacoma Dome will host the 12th Annual Veterans Resource Fair, expected to draw thousands of military veterans and their families. The event will offer free medical and dental care, aiding in immediate and ongoing health concerns. Additionally, veterans can seek assistance with VA benefits claims and access legal services for various issues. Employment services, apprenticeship opportunities, and financial education workshops will support veterans in their career transitions. Specialized resources will cater to unhoused or at-risk veterans, ensuring they receive guidance for stable housing.

The fair emphasizes support for women veterans, addressing their unique challenges and promoting inclusivity. Established by veterans, the fair has served over 50,000 attendees, becoming a crucial resource in the community. NineLine Veteran Services leads the initiative, partnering with local organizations to connect veterans with vital programs and services.
