Pet of the Week Carl

Tacoma, WALocal News

Carl, a 4-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix, is the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County's Pet of the Week. Weighing 60 pounds, he is an energetic companion for outdoor activities and enjoys cuddling afterward. As the shelter prepares for an influx of over a thousand kittens this spring, many will arrive orphaned and in need of urgent medical care. The shelter emphasizes the importance of community support during their virtual Kitten Shower to help provide necessary resources. Donations will assist in the round-the-clock care and feeding of these vulnerable kittens.

The Humane Society has been a crucial resource for animal welfare in Tacoma and Pierce County for many years. Carl is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped, making him a ready-to-adopt pet. The organization invites local residents to take action and support their mission of giving animals a second chance.
