The Tacoma Rainiers suffered a 7-6 defeat against the Sugar Land Space Cowboys in a ten-inning contest on April 24, 2025. Tacoma initially led 6-3, highlighted by Spencer Packard's two-run home run and Tyler Locklear's strong performance with multiple hits. Sugar Land rallied to tie the game in the eighth inning, capitalizing on walks and a timely single from Brice Matthews. The game extended into extra innings, where Sugar Land took the lead with a sacrifice fly in the tenth. This loss marks the Rainiers' second extra-inning game of the season, and they have now lost three straight games in the series.

Tacoma's record now stands at 10-14, while Sugar Land improves to 11-13. The game showcased a notable performance from the Rainiers' pitching staff, which struck out 12 batters in back-to-back games. Tyler Locklear's offensive contributions continue to shine, as he logged his eighth multi-hit game of the season.
