The planting event is a culmination of the McKinley Hill Neighborhood Planning process, where residents shared their vision for the area. Council Member Sandesh Sadalge emphasized the importance of community collaboration, stating, "When community comes together, great things can happen.

" Participants will be able to explore a newly constructed walking path while enjoying panoramic views of the area. Those interested in volunteering are encouraged to sign up ahead of time to enhance the community's green footprint.
