Navy brings new Strike Group experience to Spring Fair

The U. S. Navy is set to unveil its "Strike Group" mixed-reality experience at the Washington State Spring Fair in Puyallup on April 12-13, aiming to promote Navy STEM careers. This innovative program offers an immersive glimpse into the teamwork and technology that characterize Navy life. Participants can look forward to three interactive challenges, including the opportunity to launch an F-35C Lightning II jet from an aircraft carrier and assist in undersea repairs as a Navy diver.

Rear Admiral James P. Waters highlights the Navy's reputation as a technologically advanced military force and encourages attendees to consider the transformative potential of a Navy career. Additionally, participants will take a personality quiz that aligns their interests with various job roles, culminating in an AI-generated image depicting them in their recommended position. This experience not only emphasizes the importance of STEM education but also seeks to inspire the next generation of Navy professionals. With 11 Carrier Strike Groups currently operational, the event underscores the Navy's commitment to technological leadership and operational excellence.
