The Tacoma Rainiers faced a tough defeat against the Reno Aces, losing 13-8 in a game marked by offensive fireworks at Greater Nevada Field. Despite the loss, the Rainiers showcased their hitting prowess, tallying a season-high 13 hits. Dominic Canzone stole the spotlight with two home runs, becoming the first Rainier this season to achieve a multi-homer game, a feat not seen since Samad Taylor did so in August 2024. The turning point came in the bottom of the third inning when Reno exploded for seven runs, sending eleven batters to the plate. Tacoma attempted to claw back, scoring five runs in the eighth inning, but Reno's earlier lead proved insurmountable.
