Aviva Crossing, a new affordable housing development in Tacoma, officially commenced construction with a groundbreaking ceremony on March 19. Spearheaded by the Tacoma Housing Authority and Mercy Housing Northwest, the project will offer 129 energy-efficient homes, designed to cater to families in need. The housing mix includes half two- and three-bedroom units and half one-bedroom units, with Tacoma Housing Authority providing Housing Choice Vouchers to ensure affordability.
