Tacoma Arts Live is hosting "An Interactive Evening Suitable for Introverts" on March 30, 2025, featuring the talents of singer-songwriter Allison Preisinger. This event invites participants to explore creativity through a blend of music, poetry, and interactive art. A highlight is the creative workshop led by artist Brian Lane, which will focus on softcut block printing, enabling attendees to craft unique animal designs. With around 40 pre-carved animal parts available, participants can mix and match to create their own beasts. The event promotes a low-pressure atmosphere, encouraging individuals to engage with the art in a manner that suits their comfort level—either by observing or actively participating.

Local music and poetry will complement the creative experience, enhancing the overall ambiance. Attendees will leave with their printed creations, fostering a sense of accomplishment and connection to the artistic community.
