This initiative follows the adoption of resolutions by the City Council, which aims to enhance community engagement in local governance. Potential volunteers are asked to provide their full names, addresses, and reasons for their interest in participating in the committees. The statements prepared will be included in the Voters' Pamphlet, playing a crucial role in informing the electorate ahead of the elections. A special meeting of the Government Performance and Finance Committee to review applications is scheduled for July 29, 2024.
