Early Music Festival announces 2025 season

The Salish Sea Early Music Festival, created in 2011 by the esteemed baroque flutist Jeffrey Cohan, has officially announced its 2025 season, captivating classical music lovers with a rich array of performances. This festival is dedicated to presenting concerts of instrumental chamber music using authentic period instruments, with a repertoire spanning the 15th to 19th centuries. The opening concert on February 24, 2025, will feature the internationally recognized duo Les Voix Humaines, renowned for their remarkable performances of the chaconne, promising an unforgettable evening of musical masterpieces. Cohan, a notable figure in the realm of early music, has garnered prestigious awards and serves as the artistic director for multiple chamber music festivals.
