One man killed, one arrested in Tacoma. A homicide investigation is underway

A homicide investigation is currently underway in Tacoma following an incident on February 11, 2025, when a man reported a homicide at a police substation. Responding officers found a victim with critical injuries at the scene on Heron Ridge Drive Northeast. Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead shortly after Tacoma Fire personnel arrived. In connection with the crime, a 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated murder, according to jail records. The police have not yet disclosed the circumstances surrounding the victim's injuries or the method of the killing, raising questions about the nature of the incident.

Detectives and crime scene technicians are diligently working to gather evidence and piece together the events that transpired.
