Lacey police want help identifying driver who recklessly fled from traffic stop Sunday

Lacey police are urgently seeking assistance from the public in identifying a man who recklessly fled from a traffic stop on February 6, 2025. The incident occurred around 6:14 p. m. near a gas station located at 1601 Marvin Road NE, where the suspect was driving an unlicensed Toyota Sienna van. According to police reports, the suspect ignored the officer's attempts to stop him and drove dangerously through the intersection of Marvin Road Northeast and Quinault Drive, running a red light and narrowly avoiding multiple collisions.

Authorities describe the suspect as a white male in his early 30s with long black hair styled in a "man bun," wearing a dark hoodie at the time of the incident. Photographs released by Lacey police depict the suspect and the van, which featured stickers on the rear passenger side window and an unlit brake light. This incident highlights ongoing concerns about reckless driving and public safety in the area. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the non-emergency dispatch at 360-704-2740 and reference case number #2025-0594.
