Public hearings will occur on October 29 and November 19, 2024, leading up to the City Council's readings on December 3 and 10. The City encourages residents to participate in virtual workshops to understand the biennial budget process better and utilize the interactive 'Balancing Act' tool for budget scenario planning. These initiatives reflect Tacoma's commitment to fiscal responsibility and aim to address the community's diverse needs. Meetings will be broadcast live on TV Tacoma, the City’s Facebook page, and Zoom, allowing residents to voice their opinions and gain insights into city operations, ultimately enhancing public trust and engagement in financial decision-making.
