Puyallup Collision Injures Woman and Toddler Driver Arrested for Impairment

On Sunday, an 18-year-old woman and a 2-year-old girl were seriously injured in a pedestrian collision in Puyallup, as reported by local police. The incident occurred around 2:41 p. m. in the 1300 block of 12th Avenue Northwest, near Sam Peach Park. Emergency responders transported both victims to Tacoma hospitals for treatment of their serious injuries.

The driver, a 32-year-old man, appeared to be under the influence of drugs and had two children as passengers who were unharmed. He was arrested and faces multiple charges, including vehicular assault and reckless endangerment. This incident underscores the dangers of impaired driving, particularly in residential areas where children are present.
