This cherished annual event, a tradition for nearly ten years, was originally scheduled to take place at the Tacoma Dome but was relocated due to severe weather conditions, including damaging winds that posed safety risks. Ahndrea Blue, founder and CEO of the Making A Difference Foundation, emphasized the importance of safety for both volunteers and attendees, leading to the decision to host the festivities at the food bank's McKinley Avenue location.
