Shooting on Pierce Transit Bus in Downtown Puyallup Prompts Police Investigation

A shooting incident on a Pierce Transit bus in downtown Puyallup prompted a robust police response. Two suspects exited the bus and fired several rounds at a passenger, who fortunately was unharmed, along with the driver and other riders. Initially described as adult males in their 20s, the suspects are now believed to be under 18 years old. Officers found multiple shell casings and noted damage to the bus. The driver followed protocol by moving the bus to safety.

A K-9 unit has joined the search for the suspects, who fled on foot. Police Chief Scott Engle expressed confidence that video footage from the bus and nearby cameras will aid the investigation. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
