The Pierce County Medical Examiner confirmed his identity and attributed his death to multiple blunt-force injuries. Anthony Thomas Albers, 34, faces charges including DUI vehicular homicide and failure to remain at the accident scene. Witnesses reported seeing a green pickup truck speeding before it struck Bond, suggesting the driver's intoxication. Albers was located by police, appearing drunk and claiming he was unaware of his involvement in the accident.
