Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance built 40 new WA trails this year. Here’s where they are

In 2024, the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance has made significant progress in expanding mountain biking opportunities in Washington by launching over 40 new trails statewide. This initiative, executed in collaboration with local land managers such as the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, ensures that the new trails align with community needs. Trails Director David Fleishhauer emphasized the importance of understanding existing riding opportunities and identifying gaps for local bikers. The new trails span various regions, including King County, Pierce County, and Spokane County, showcasing the Alliance's commitment to accessibility in mountain biking. The project includes a mix of volunteer-powered and staff-driven construction efforts, highlighting community involvement in outdoor recreation.
