Women invited to rise in dominion

Tacoma, WALocal News

The City of Faith Christian Center will host its third annual RISE Conference on July 26, 2025, themed "Rising in Dominion. " First Lady Verndella Rogers created the event to promote empowerment and inspiration among women, especially after the difficulties of the pandemic. The conference will feature activities such as a morning tea, games, and a raffle for themed gift baskets, including spa and snack baskets. Each woman will receive a raffle ticket, allowing them to choose their preferred basket, reinforcing the theme of personal choice. Pastor Kevin Rogers will close the event with uplifting messages to encourage attendees to embrace their authority and purpose.

The conference welcomes women of all ages, from young girls to seniors, emphasizing the importance of self-care and community. Last year's theme focused on the biblical Woman at the Well, highlighting women's value alongside their male counterparts. This year's gathering aims to help women regain their focus and walk confidently in their dominion.
